
Hector Frausto with over 23 years of managerial experience is a seasoned information technology industry executive with a distinguished background in all information technology related services.
He has most recently served as Vice President, Information Technology and Business Operations for Fox International Channels / National Geographic Channels International Group where was involved in the planning, implementation, administration and operations of all ongoing information technology initiatives for the Fox International cable networks in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Latin America as well as National Geographic Channels International worldwide. He also actively participates in the strategic development of new operational business initiatives for the group’s international assets such as new office build ups and business operations ancillary extensions. In this position, Mr. Frausto also directly oversees and is “Hands On” in all Information Technology initiatives, staff resources, business operations, information systems, and property asset management for Fox International Channels and for National Geographic Channels International.
Prior to assuming this job, Mr. Frausto served as Executive Director, Business Operations Information Technology for the Fox Latin American Channels. In this position, Mr. Frausto oversaw Information Technology resources for Fox’s Latin American channels including national Geographic International, Canal Fox, Fox’s leading basic-cable entertainment network in the region, and Fox Kids, the highly-rated children’s entertainment service. During this time, Mr. Frausto opened new information technology infrastructures domestic and international offices in Argentina, Miami, Mexico, Caracas, Bogota, Guatemala, Chile and Brazil, while establishing business operations, information technology policy and procedures for all the regional offices.
Mr. Frausto was responsible for managing the networks infrastructures rapid expansion from 50 to 2500 employees worldwide in four continents. In addition, he oversaw some lease-hold facility improvement for the company’s headquarters and post-production facilities in Los Angeles.
Mr. Frausto transitioned to the international television business by joining Fox as Manager Information Technology for Canal Fox, Fox’s first channel in Latin America. In this position, he established all of the company’s international information technology resource functions, policies and procedures as well as directly handling staff in all regional offices.
Prior to joining Fox, in March of 2000, Mr. Frausto was the head of information technology for a local major non-life insurance company in the world. Mr. Frausto’s extensive management and engineering experience in the information technology field is due to his many years in the field and a master’s degree.
Mr. Frausto attended California State University, Los Angeles for his Bachelors in Business Administration degree and later received a Masters Degree in Information Systems.
